I have been painting since 1959 and am self taught. My desire to paint leads me to believe that I was born to paint.
I never work on just one painting at a time, but several. While one is drying, I work on another until finally one is completed. I listen to music while I paint. Neal Young, Moody Blues, the oldies station and new music...lots and lots of music, and I watch Leave It To Beaver nearly every night.
I live in Haughton, Louisiana with my husband, Kent, who makes sure I take breaks from painting to eat his wonderful home-cooked meals.
When you see my work, you see me. I am a painter...always have been...always will be.
